Top 10 Lists

Top 10 Lists

Top 10 lists are a lot of fun, especially when shared and compared with a friend. They’re also really easy to do, and you can do them anywhere, at any time.

You can make a Top 10 list of just about anything – in fact, there are whole websites devoted to them! Start with some basics – food, movies, books, songs, celebrities etc and then see where you go.

You might also like to dream about things you would like to do and places you would like to visit in the future. This kind of list is called a “bucket list” and can be a great towards creating your dream journal.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Choose your topics and write them as headers at the top of your journal page.
  2. Think about your Top 10 things for each topic. You might like to write them on scraps of paper first so you can arrange them into the right order.
  3. Once you’ve decided on the order, write them into your journal. Or you might like to draw or paste pictures of your Top 10 list instead. Make sure you include the date.
  4. Do it again in 1 year. Compare. Have you changed? What is the same? What’s different? Why?
